MEET PAULA
PAULA SON is a BOLD, POWERFUL, and INSPIRING solutions-focused individual who uses her years of expertise in the mental health field, coupled with insight from life’s experiences to assist others in navigating through transitions and changes in their personal lives.
Paula holds a B.A. in Psychology from Grambling State University and an M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Louisiana Tech University. She is also a Licensed Clinical Pastoral Counselor through the National Christian Counselors Association.
Paula is an innovative thinker and understands that in order to successfully implement change in any area of your life, there must be congruence between the rational and emotional side of the brain, coupled with clear, concise instructions to the destination. She has successfully navigated through several challenging life events: death of a father, divorce, career change, and being laid off during the pandemic.
She is a speaker, a podcaster, and the author of, “Finding the Yes in the No; A Guide to Overcoming Rejection.” She utilizes her platforms to inspire as well as challenge people to grow through changing their thinking and modifying their behaviors to produce desired outcomes.
The origin of the name Paula means, “small.” She believes that a BIG problem or a BIG change requires a small solution, or a series of small solutions over a period of time; knowing that something small can have a BIG impact on a HUGE problem!
